Beacon Health Options Claims Submissions
Beacon Health Options network providers were previously notified that Prestige Health Choice transitioned behavioral health subcontractors from Beacon to Optum effective January 1, 2018. It was indicated that there would be no changes in how providers submit Prestige Health Choice claims to Beacon for reimbursement for claims with dates of service prior to January 1, 2018.
Effective immediately, the claim submission process for services rendered to Prestige Health Choice members by Beacon network providers has been updated. Any claims for dates of service prior to January 1, 2018, must be submitted to Beacon via paper claim or as an electronic claim submission (through electronic data interchange [EDI]) only. Prestige Health Choice claims can no longer be submitted through the Beacon provider portal. Please refer to Beacon's contact information below.
